Flussraum der Reuss und ist nur durch einen Steg mit dem Festland verbunden der gewonnene Freiraum am Reussufer erm\u00f6glicht einen grossz\u00fcgigen und attraktiven Vorbereich und Treffpunkt f\u00fcr die Universit\u00e4t und das Quartier. Der Bauk\u00f6rper liegt auf einer pontonartigen Plattform, die \u00fcber der Wasseroberfl\u00e4che \u201eschwebt\u201c und unter der das Wasser ungehindert durchfliessen kann. Die Plattform-Aufbauten werden von einer geflechtartigen Stahl- Skelettstruktur ummantelt, die zusammen mit den transparenten Glasf\u00fcllungen die H\u00fclle f\u00fcr die \u201eDenkfabrik\u201c bilden. Duch diese offene und transparente Struktur wird das Geb\u00e4udevolumen aufgel\u00f6st und macht den Universit\u00e4tsbetrieb sichtbar und auch von aussen
