Ein verglaster \u00fcber dem Terrain schwebender Verbindungssteg verbindet die beiden Geb\u00e4ude im Erd- und Obergeschoss behindertengerecht miteinander. Entsprechend dem Altbau tritt der Neubau als eigenst\u00e4ndiger, kompakter Bauk\u00f6rper in Erscheinung und f\u00fcgt sich in die bestehende Bebauungsstruktur ein. Die mit grossfl\u00e4chigen, durchgef\u00e4rbten Eternitplatten verkleideten Aussenfl\u00e4che legt sich zusammen mit den fl\u00e4chig eingelassen Fenstern wie eine Mantel um den gesamten Bauk\u00f6rper.
